Digital Traps

Introduction

What if the biggest threats didn’t come kicking through the door, but clicked their way in? In a world where every scroll, like, and click feels harmless, danger hides in plain sight. Invited by the Portuguese agency Fónix, Studio Nuts joined APAV - the Portuguese Association for Victim Support, to create a powerful visual alert about the hidden risks that live within the digital world. What seems like a simple button — “LIKE,” “SHARE,” “ACCEPT,” “CONFIRM”, might actually be a gateway to manipulation, abuse, or online exploitation. Through a series of hyper-realistic, cinematic images, we expose the double meaning behind everyday digital interactions. Each interface element becomes a trapdoor, revealing how easily violence can disguise itself in the online space. Because today, violence doesn't always knock. Sometimes, it just waits for us to click.
